4pm, Saturday, 2009, March 07. Starbucks, Pavilion, Drizzled.

I am consuming caffein and tobacco now...on a cloudy drizzled Saturday..

Decided to sit here, at the corner in Starbucks, flipping through CLEO, having my hot caramel macchiato, observing pedestrian, eavedropping on the conversation next table, starbucks, you made my day...LOL

Was kind of disturbed earlier, having a so called fear of failure disorder, was really stressed up, scared that I wont have enough time to catch up with frens, spend time with family, private talk with cousin, also scared that my workload going to be more after this long weekend, lots of thing to be worried on...on the hand, I am happy that finally I can have a mini break, leave the office for few days...

Luckily, I came accross this article in CLEO, providing ways to release stress...

Feeling better now...

Well, nobody can be perfect, should always bear in mind... Isnt it?

OK...time to stop scribbling, will post on blog later on...together with the photos I took.

(On an extremely boring Saturday...)

Danise Liew: Doctor, I am here to seek for consultation, not really feelin' well.

Alicia Herrera: (give me a stare, clear her throat, sit straight) Did you open your eyes everytime when you wake up?

Danise Liew: ( Shrug) Sometimes...Depends..

Alicia Herrera: ( Nodded) Ok, then how often your brush your teeth?

Danise Liew: ( give an innocent look) Occasionally?

Alicia Herrera: (frown) That is bad, Dont you know we suppose to do it at least once a day?

Danise Liew: (giggling) I was told to do it twice a day

Alicia Herrera: ( Eyes rolling, sigh) Ok, based on my observation, you are a bit pale though, arent you suppose to wear your make up today? Are you aware that you are working in sales and you suppose to look nice at all the time?

Danise Liew: ( playing with her fingers) ....

Alicia Herrera: (sigh) Do you know that you will feel better after making yourself look good?

Danise Liew: ( Defend) I will never look good, you see my hand lar... ( showed her hand with an ugly, unhealed scar)

Alicia Herrera: ( given an OIC look) I am a professional surgeon as well, do you want me to help you?

Danise Liew: ( look into Alicia's eyes) You serious?

Alicia Herrera: ( showed her scissors), I only need to use this and a masking tape, probably the one in white color which is almost the same with your complexion...then you will look good again...

Danise Liew: ( speechless, turned her face back to monitor screen, resume her email replying task...)

Alicia Herrera: Hey, you no need to pay consultation fees meh?

* Just another stupid conversation at workplace.

It has been 3 years since we last saw Wei Ern in year 2006, I was wondering in the evening, all of us are ipoh-ian and we used to see each other "everyday" in skul...what is so difficult for us to arrange some gathering or yam cha..Hmm..guess we were too busy to plan...

Anyway..we managed to see her just now @ Yeolde English, Winnie and Vege could make it today, so just wei ern ,me. khai ling, hui teng & kit kat, I am glad that we able to catch her before she fly to Adelaide, Australia. Well, she will be there for 2 years...my best wishes to her, hope that she can adapt to the new environment a.s.a.p, but for a tough girl like her, that shouldn be a problem for her..

Wanted to type more about my reminiscence of the secondary skull , and plan to use the closing line of " those were the days" blah blah...but seriously I cant make it now..kinda sleepy, one of the symptons ( yawning) appeared ady and its getting worse..

I will be missing you and may the force be with you.

Global Financial Crisis - 2008/2009

Due to the hit of the global financial crisis that started in 2008, everything seems to

be so different.if you are attached with any of the organization, recession & retrenchment tend to be the key word of every issue, were asked to work long hour,benefits and priviledges has been taken away...

well, it is all because of the key word said earlier.

Its is going to be a tough year, especially for my field...yet, let me welcome year 2009 with
an embrace!!!!

Here I would like to make an annoucement, one of my new year resolution is to cleanse my friendster, that means, only friends that I know in reality will be remain in my account, those "friends" for framing purposes will be deleted, I shall say sorry for the inconvenience caused but this is to ensure a better management system to be adopted.

Once again, Happy new year 2009, best wishes and may the force be with you.

您的出发点已再也不重要, 但请以造福国民为大前提下的作出 a politic decision.

A letter to god.

Dear God,

Good Evening.

I am writing this to you pertaining to the teary x'mas I had for year 2008.

Its a unforgettable X'mas ever.

Sorry, what does that gesture means?

Oh, you are asking why I came out with this statement?

Well..the plan for x'mas was suppose to be meeting up with my darling Anny ( after 13 months of not seeing each other), going to Sanctuary@ The Curve during x'mas eve to have some fun, pillow talk at hotel room and next day hang out together...Such a nice plan, wasn it?

But...

Imagine you lost your purse the day b4 x'mas eve, the items in the purse consisting of your IC, license, all your cash, ATM cards and the bus ticket to go bk hometown.

Huh? what? you called this bad luck? Not really...

Since my colleague came all the way from Batu Caves and bring me to the Police Station to lodge police report + nice dinner, my beloved darling Anny promised to help me to get a new bus tic ( I am such a pathetic spoiled child, right?), I am practically ready to forget the sadness and sorrow and prepared for the countdown plan of Xmas happilly on the next day.

I am kind of optimistic ( in fact, I was never a pessimist), Itu dia, who cares about the stolen purse...!!!

Sadly, bad luck was not with me for one day nia...

When I was en route to meet up with my frens during xmas eve...I was wearing a pair of Vincci flip-flop, suddenly the Y-shaped strap was broken, exactly at the same time, shoeless Danise found out that her n82 was running out of battery. Gosh, what other surprises I can get in one day? I could not even make call for help...

Forced to take cab, guys, the jam was so terrible!!!Which culprit was saying its recession now? Holy shit, not in kl/pj, everybody was in xmas fever.

Anyway, I managed to reach Royale Bintang The curve and my pityful fren Anny ( she is pityful because of having a potong stim fren named Danise Liew) , Anny brought me up to hotel room, calm me down , lend me a pair of shoes so we can carry on with the original plan.

Well due to empty stomach + alcohol, I was drunk, after vomited, I slept.Sigh.

My mom always tell me to be grateful, I would like to express my gratitute to Kogie and Vim for bringing me to Police Station, the cab driver who lend me his handphone and charger, Anny for buying me the bus tic and frens who took care of me when I was drunk/ unconscious.

Lastly I would like to say thanks to you, who made all these incidents happened, I mean, made me lost my purse but not my phone, broken the shoe strap but not tore my shirt.

Finally I am back to my Ipoh home with internet access, was living in zaman purba for the passed few months..ew...
